# Sample Architecture Decision Record

Fictional demonstration. This is not a client record, a production assessment,
or a claim of tested control effectiveness.

## Decision

Begin a fictional internal service-desk assistant at draft-only authority.
A person reviews and sends every proposed response. The assistant has no
permission to close tickets or modify business-system configuration.

## Status

Illustrative proposal. No client approval or deployment is implied.

## Context and Assumptions

- The proposed assistant drafts responses to internal support enquiries.
- Grounding data, identity controls, and permitted information are not yet assessed.
- Operating ownership and evaluation criteria must be agreed before a pilot.

## Options Considered

1. Draft-only: retains human review and limits the initial action boundary.
2. Bounded execution with approval: requires explicit action permissions,
approval behavior, audit coverage, and tested recovery.
3. Autonomous execution: requires further operating controls and evidence;
this example does not establish that those requirements have been met.

## Consequences

Human review limits throughput. Draft quality must still be evaluated, and
retrieval access must remain within an agreed information boundary. Draft-only
authority does not itself establish data security or correctness.

## Evidence and Ownership Required

- Assign an accountable business owner and an operating owner.
- Define representative evaluations and acceptable failure behavior.
- Confirm identity, data access, and audit coverage for the selected platform.
- Test rollback and action recovery before increasing authority.
- Record the promotion decision and the residual risks explicitly.
